Turnkey construction contract, reconstruction

Scale: 10 795 square meters

Fodd CJSC is reconstructing a 1930s town-forming Automatic Telephone Exchange building complex to transform it into a hotel. This 119-room luxury hotel complex under MGallery by Sofitel brand operated by AccorHotels will be located within Moscow’s Garden Ring in Khamovniki district. It will be the brand’s first hotel in Russia.

As reconstruction work involving the replacement of the building complex’s dilapidated structures proceeds, the historic look of these constructivism-era buildings will be fully recreated. The complex will expand two levels underground to accommodate its engineering facilities.

The reconstruction project will utilize state-of-the-art technologies, engineering systems and materials supplied by leading manufacturers.

The concept and architectural solution for the reconstruction of this building complex were developed by GRAN LLC under the direction of Pavel Andreev, an Honored Architect of the Russian Federation.

The interior designs perfectly blending into the constructivism-era buildings are being developed by the FRONTARKHITECTURA architecture company. The detailed design for the hotel complex is being developed by Fodd CJSC.
